Couples Counseling Intensive Retreats

Some couples struggle with pervasive issues that require more sustained, intensive intervention than the most highly skilled counselor could possibly provide in typical weekly sessions. Focused therapy through an Intensive Couples Counseling Retreat accelerates growth by giving couples uninterrupted time and space to jump-start a healthy connection and develop skills to strengthen their partnership.

 

Intensives are facilitated by Scott Welch, LMHC & Founder of Mosaic Counseling of Florida, who has specialized in couples therapy for over 27 years. Scott triages couples using research-based assessments and evaluative sessions to determine readiness for the intensive format. Then a customized intensive treatment plan is developed. All intensives include a detailed progress summary and ongoing counseling plan for the referring therapist.

Prices start at $2,795 for a 10-hour intensive. Fees vary for extended intensives. Lodging is provided at no additional cost in the cozy and charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath, guest cottage at the Mosaic Ranch, a family-owned farm in historic Oviedo, just 30 miles northeast of Disney, Sea World and many other Central Florida attractions.

 

During their downtime, couples are welcome to interact with the many farm animals that call Mosaic Ranch home including horses, goats, chickens, ducks, and dogs. Several amenities are available to guests upon request including access to the fully stocked Mosaic Ranch art studio, fishing pond, frisbee golf, ping pong, corn hole, fire pit, and more! Bikes are available for couples to explore the Cross Seminole Trail which leads past the Oviedo Mall, movie theater, and several excellent dining options, just a couple of miles from the Ranch.
